I am swinging between being entirely numb to being in immense emotional pain. A situation hits you harder than you expect sometimes. I offer these words of experience. Anything you are feeling, feel it. Deeply and broadly. Feel whatever you feel because it is there and you cant stop it but it will ebb and flow. Embrace it. If you can, don’t harm yourself. If you do, if you have, don’t keep it to yourself, tell someone. If you do harm yourself don’t let it keep hurting you. You make mistakes sometimes. You are human. Then take time to look at something or listen to something you think is beautiful. Beauty is everywhere in limitless forms. Breathe with it, embrace it with your feelings, because your feelings, while some are painful are all a beautiful part of being alive.
